I have been adjusting to waking up to my alarm clock at 2:30am since 2000 when I started working with Dave here at The Wolf, and we became The Wolf Wake-Up Crew. I still hate the sound of that alarm clock, but I love coming in to have some morning fun with you and Dave.
Things I love…My husband Dana, my baby boy Max, my family, my nephews Noah and Connor, margarita’s with salt, sangria, eating lobster and crab, barbecuing, acting, singing, road trips, “Moulin Rouge and Chicago”, George Clooney, a well defined muscular calf on a guy (not the young cow either), Christmas, “American Idol,” “Lost” “30 Rock” and “The Office,” working with Dave, Harry Potter books, ch eese, wine, unique recipes, Food network, dressing up for Halloween, and for a night out, the Red Sox, my Red Sox hat (so I don’t have to brush my hair), warm summer days at the beach, and life in general.
OH, and we just bought our very first house, and WE LOVE IT!! So, now we’re officially poor! We’ll be working on house projects for the next 30 years…oh, what fun! We’re also learning how to embrace all of the wildlife that seem to love our backyard…crazy, Alfred Hitchcock birds, families of groundhogs, foxes, snakes, turtles, squirrels, chipmunks, deer, and in the springtime…the Peepers! They are so loud!
Thanks for listening, and please stay tuned for more crazy stories about my life as a newlywed and new homeowner!
I, Dave Winsor am a resident of Maine, although I wasn’t born here, it has quickly become “home” for me, my wife Janice, my son Eric and my daughter Ashley. Oh wait, I’ve forgotten the 50 -something animals on my farm. All my neighbors can tell you exactly how many roosters we have. Those lucky animals are all MAINERS.
I LOVE my job. I get to do something that most people find frightening, speak publicly. I enjoy being part of the team of voices that greet you each morning. I consider it an honor that you choose to spend time with Michelle and me. Thank you!
I’m really starting to rack up important milestones in my life. Cancer free for 6 years now, married over 25 years and I have a cat that is almost 15 years old. Where has the time gone? Who cares? As long as I make the best of my time, have a positive impact in the community and make others feel better, then I’ve done my job.
